Free Trial Cloud Software for 2020

Organisations of all shapes and sizes can do with every little bit of help during 2020.  Several software vendors and cloud service providers now have extended trials of their products to help support businesses.

If you have an IT support provider, please, please consult with them first! You need to consider administration, security, software conflicts, and what happens after the three or six months with that trial?

With that warning over, here is a list of free, extended trials, alternative (cheaper) software you might wish to consider. We have missed off some obvious ones, and have tailored it around our client base.

• Security for home devices
  • Using a non-work device for remote working? We can protect that device for free for 90 days. We’ve turned off all additional filtering, logging and only interested in blocking malware and phishing sites.
• Moving to the Cloud
  • SharePoint and OneDrive Migration – If you’d be interested in moving your files to SharePoint and OneDrive and reducing your need for a VPN. Then our team won’t charge you any consultancy or migrate time for an organisation under 30 users.

• Breathe HR – Not sure of any offers, but we would highly recommend Breathe HR for HR management.

• Mailchimp – Mailchimp a tool used for sending Newsletters is offering a free website for five years, I think you still need to buy a domain name with them.
• Really Simple Systems – Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system free for 90 days.
• SEMrush – Streamline your social communication with the Social Media tool

Multimedia

• Affinity – If you need to save costs, then Adobe alternative might just help you with Affinity providing 90 days free trial of their DTP, Photo Editor and Drawing software.

Security

• 1Password – Our clients already have access to secure password manager for their business, but if you’re looking for something for personal usage, then check out 1Password.
  

Tools

• Meero – Provides free large file transfers to make working from home more accessible, design around photographers. Also, check out Send from Firefox.
  
• PandaDoc eSign – Free eSign document and contract solution during the outbreak

Video Conferencing

• Lifesize – With unlimited video meetings, no time limits and free for six months, Lifesize often gets overlooked for Zoom.
• Loom – Another Zoom alternative with free recording
• Cisco Webex – One of the originals for video conferencing – 90 days for businesses
• Microsoft Teams – If you use Office 365 or not, you might benefit from an E1 license for six months.
