AI Acceleration Continues

Virtually every customer we talk to about technology wants to discuss Artificial Intelligence. For many organisations though, there’s distinct FOMO, as they try to work out where AI can add value for their customers and employees alike.

It’s clear from the Trump inauguration, that the new American administration will have tech front and centre of its strategy on, well almost everything. In fact just yesterday, a mere one day into the job, a $500bn project was confirmed to build out AI infrastructure (datacentres) in the US, collaborating with partners in Japan and UAE

And it’s a week since Keir Starmer announced £14b of investment to create over 13,000 UK jobs as part of his AI Action Plan.

As the race to attract the best talent accelerates, it’s worth noting that tech giants like G42 in UAE, are already six years down the track with VERY deep pockets, including a recent £1.5b investment from Microsoft. There is no doubt that control of AI evolution is seen as hugely important on the global stage.
